Sounds good I intend to come. I used to be into LARPs back in England a few years ago and would love to get back into some weapons fighting again. Cool, what ones? Is this a rain or shine kind of deal? Or does it tend to get cancelled if the weather turns? Hopefully one of the south calgary guys will pop on here and answer that. I am not sure what that particular practices policy is... I don't think they have had to miss one yet though. Will I need to bring one of those liability waivers with me or will someone have one that I could fill out when I get there? They will have waivers there, but bringing one sure makes things easier!  |

Sorry Cib, that's actually false. The South practice is going on hiatus for the next few weeks due to our members having other commitments. (I'll update the schedules to reflect this.) The north Calgary practice should be on though.

I played and helped run DarkStar, Fury.
I played in Oblivion, Myth, Knifeedge. All were very much swords and sorcery LARPS. I realise that Belegarth is not really a LARP but I am still very interested in having a try and seeing what its all about. Looking forward to it. Just been trying to find all my old equipment and dusting it off.

As for weather, rain cancels practice, temperatures colder than -8 cancel practice, and other unfavorable conditions effect attendance. If we don't know of 3 people who will be attending, the practice is canceled, (this has only happened once so far and I showed up anyway because I got left out of the email.)

Yeah, practice should be on next week, bearing any crap calgary throws at us in the weather department. My backyard is still a swamp, but the field should be dry by tuesday.
I completely forgot about waivers. I won't be seeing my friends untill tuesday, as today was the last day of school for me. Hmm...

after 2 weeks in a row with no one showing up I've officially canceled the North Calgary practices.
Ezek hopes to restart them once the school year starts up.
BTW I won't be able to make the 26th and the 2nd is iffy because I'll be at Chaos Wars that week. So you guys need to build more weapons!
