Hey all I am away this week, but I will be posting photos and such as soon as I can (not this week I don't have a fast connection). I would love to hear your thoughts on what worked well, what didn't, what we could to to improve next year, etc. A record of this will come in handy next year when we begin planning again and have forgot all the little details.  |

hmm... the realm battle was for sure awsome
i would like some more objective type games like capture the flag or something.
let me think on the rest

We had planned one, but the underbrush in the trees killed it. (Was planned as a forest battle.)

Suggestions for improvements:
1. A planned time for weapons checking.
2. Like Draggoas said, more diversity for field battles -- bridge battles, capture the flag, and woods battles, just to name a few. Warlord would have also been immensely fun... But, we may want an official marshal for that one! lol
Stuff that worked well:
1. The One against the Horde went quite well. Better than last year I heard!
2. The Realm battles were AWESOME! Enough said!
3. I really enjoyed the food!
So, that's my list for now!
Did I leave anything out?

I agree with more variety such as CTF. You might as well keep the first hour or more as weapons checking/casual battles.

i think that next year we need to bring some garb pants so we can have a forest CTF battle. i really would like a big team bridge battle next year. and definatly do something about weapon checking. i also think that kill the killer was enjoyable BUT nobody won. . . . just a few thoughts.

My friend got a bunch of footage. I don't know how he could get it to you though. I do know of a few large file sending websites.
