Just a quick check to see who's still interested in swinging through Red Deer for this.
I know Mog had an injury recently, but feel free to show up regardless of personal health. I promise, we won't make you work too hard. Really.

I am definitely interested in coming but I make no promises because I don't have my own vehicle. I always have to borrow my parents. So sometimes it like being marooned up the stream without a paddle. . . or in this case the whole boat.

Unfortunately I am away that weekend... The rest of you should try and arrange a car pool or something.

My thumb still isn't 100% and I got a sizable bruise on my leg from Darr last time I was out that's not quite healed ether... but I'm going to be fighting tomorrow anyway with them. If they don't get worse I should be able to make Red Deer too.
I'll be coming from Calgary so I can easily pick up anyone on the way. Darr where exactly do you live?
Is anyone else coming from outside of Red Deer?

Heads up, no practice tomorrow Mog. Darr has a funeral.
Darr lives out of town (farm) but can usually get a ride in to Airdrie even if he can't have the van.

The 30th. We try and try, but summer just is not our best foam fighting stretch unfortunately.

Alright, sweet. Well, from the looks of it, we'll still have an empty room for you guys, so long as you don't mind cuddling on an air mattress.
If for some reason you do mind, or something comes up and I wind up with a new roommate, a tent wouldn't be totally amiss. We can provide an air mattress, and I'm sure we can use some camping foam for its actual intended purpose (blasphemy, I know).
Oh, and I'm working on getting a party together the night of the 25th too. Nothing too overwhelming. Coworker got a new job as a bartender, wants to brush up on his old skills, and I figured we'd all make good test subjects. Nobody minds, right?

Oh I was figuring on driving home Saturday night. Is something happening on the Sunday?
I wouldn't mind staying for a party that night though if you've got a place for me to crash after.

It depends on how many people we get, but I imagine we can run a couple larger scale exercises with more organization than the guys will ever manage for Saturday. Maybe some Hero/Anti-Hero, a CTF exercise or two. Mix with a quick practice for new people and get the new blood interested in what we have to offer.
If you guys want to stick around for that, it'd be awesome.

Kayla, Russel, Tomas, and Dustin are back from Drum now and expressed interest if they could get a ride.
I know some of our guys don't drink, so I don't know if all would be up for that kind of party, but they might. I am really bummed I can't make it, but on the pulse side I am working with some kids on a posable backyard realm in Drum that weekend so not all is lost. (Also met a kid who is interested in starting a backyard realm in Cold Lake this weekend. Woohoo!)

A few of my friends don't drink either, and most of us really won't be drinking that much. I imagine there'll be two intermingling groups of drinkers and non-drinkers going in and out of the house. I'm warning the neighbours and distributing ear-plugs as we speak.
Looks like we're going to have a better turn-out than I'd anticipated. This ought to be good.

I can BARLEY take myself plus 4 with me... plus 3 would be much more comfortable.
Who else can offer rides? looks like we have Mog, Darr, Kayla, Russel, Tomas, and Dustin wanting to go, but I don't have room for everyone.

The rest of my crew all live in town. Are you guys bringing your own weapons, too? Keep in mind you'd have to load those up too. Our extras are running a little low because we've been practicing more frequently.
One or two might have to sit it out, or ride Greyhound.
While we're on the subject of transit, timing is key too. I know I said in the actual event page on Facebook that I would be there around 3. I get off work at 1 and plan on taking a couple of hours to get everything and everyone together.
As it would be easiest for me to guide you guys around town from where I work, would you like to start from there and be here a bit earlier? Much easier than trying to guide you through back roads and the like.

I am most likely going to be driving up there myself but I can't stay for Sunday. It would be great If I could meet you at the place where you work. The question is where and when? The details have been kinda sketchy at best.
