Avatar settings are in your user profile preferences.
No events are planed right now, my summer is crazy but last year there was at least one small-er realm held event wile I was gone. I will probably start to look at another event (for fall/early winter) latter this summer.

You're probably going to want something either shorter, or something tha doesn't sound lame when shortened. Duskinwolf is going to be shortened out on the field. Probably to Dusk, Dusty, ect. For example, Mogiheden (Calgary leader-guy) goes by Mog more often than not. It just isn't practical to be using long names when you're on the field. I'm not trying to sound all high and mighty, just trying to help. Sorry if this came across rude. I hope to see you guys sometime, once the NW Calgary practices start up next tuesday, after a few practices we should hold and event in the summer with the airdre bunch. I'll bet if the lesser-realms joined together we could crush them! Ba ha ha!

People will likely default to Gill, but if you can get them to Galad, it wont get lost in combat as easily at a one sizable name.

I could get a couple of people to come out to an event, but maybe not to drumheller. I can't drive without a parent, and they wouldn't want to drive that far... Let's figure it out though.

Fall. When does the initial craziness of back to school/work/end of summer end usually? Does anyone know far enough ahead in their schedules when a good day would be for a big fall event? Feed back would be good.
I am thinking late fall. We will figure out where later.

Late Fall Event Proposal:
Tournament of Strathclyde Event
Summery: An event based around 2 man unit games and tournaments.
Description: -The event would consist of a series of 2 man unit tournaments, and other unit based tournaments (for eg. some might be: Unit FFA, One unit against all, Unit round robin tournament, 2 unit four bases tournament, etc). -Players would ether enter the event as a pre formed 2 man team/unit, or enter as a wiled card to be paired up in to 2 man units with other wiled card players at the event. -Units are permanently fixed for the duration of the event. All larger games and tournaments would always to continue to separate and score according to unit or individual players. -Awards might be given for... Tournament/game specific dominance : Realm dominance (most points accumulated by all units from each realm) : Unit style (best looking coordinated unit garb) : etc...
-Such an event could be used as an opportunity to recruit friends in to being on a team with you, or have vets train newer members by teaming up with them.
-Teams would be expected to have appropriate unit names (eg. Red Warlords, Western Ravens, etc.) and appropriate coordinated matching garb (eg. all black, or red sashes and wight tabards, or yellow belt fags, etc.).
Ok now I need some constructive criticism and honest feedback. What do you think of such an event? If I held an event like this would you want to attend? Do you like the idea more or less than a standard event?
