I mentioned this video to Darr yesterday, I think at starbucks. IT shows at Red fighter destroy a shield man in seconds 1on1.
Lets make this thread about analyzing successful red fighters in videos we find. Looking at their moves and how they work.
Here is the first video:

Hmmmm... interesting.. an add! That is new!
Anyway. I think the first thing to do is look at how many hits he makes and where he make them.
He makes a red shot to the shield, jumps back out of the way of a swing, Delivers another Red shot that ends in a block (effectively stooping the shield mans atack) and some how gets in a 3rd red shot swinging down killing the sheild man.
The second thing I am noticing here is that the red fighter seems to be much "freeer" in movement and have a lot more range of attack than the shield man. IT feels like the shield mans shield is getting in his way preventing him from effectively attacking. Almost like the red fighters is using the shield mans shield to his advantage!

Using a 6'+er you will be looking to Sleeper as your model. The only successful, because of skill not luck, Bel or Dag 6' red sword user known.
I think any Red user can learn a thing or 2 form him.

Also should not, that although he takes a death in both the 2nd and 3rd video it was common consensus that he more than likely got at last 1 or 2 good shots in on his opponent that they didn't take. In other-words. He might have won both of those.

Yeah, he's real good.
There's one combo that I would like to try someday and that is a bow and red combo. Kill them from far away and when they charge me pull out the big sword. I'm sure it would take an incredible amount of time to get good at it but if mastered would awesome. One of the tricky parts would be to find a way in which to shoulder my bow and draw my sword in a very short amount of time.

You probably don't want to fight with a bow on your shoulder. I would cast it aside, although it is posable for it to get stepped on, it is far more likely to get broken by a hit you receive or you falling on it. I think at US events Marshals pick up bows that are cast aside so they don't get stepped on.

Yeah, casting it aside would probably be the best thing to do.
@ draggoas, sweet, it will be awesome to have another red on the field. Just out of curiosity how fast is your red, I mean is it almost like slow motion or does it doe a bit better?
