This game is based off Monty Python's famous "Black Knight" sketch from the holy grail.
One person is the Black Knight. All other participants must line up and face off against the black knight in duels one on one.
The Black Knight can only be killed when all of his hit zones have been killed. This means if he loses both legs and both arms, he is still alive until he is also hit in the chest.Hits to a destroyed chest do not carry through to remaining limbs, Hits to the chest while at least one limb is active count as a strike to a limb of the black knight's choice. Hits to lost arms/legs do carry through as normal.
The Black Knight does not regain limbs between duels. Challengers regain everything after their duel.
If the Black Knight loses both arms he is allowed to hold a weapon against his upper-torso, (simulating holding the sword in his teeth.) or a foot using a dead hand, but the weapon must remain in contact with the non-dead hit zone to count, and When the Black Knight loses an arm he must hold the upper-arm against his torso but can still use the forearm to swing his weapon. A hit to the arm holding the weapon counts against the hit zone "holding" the weapon chest, (hands holding weapons are still invulnerable and chest shots are redirected as described above.)
When the Black Knight is killed the challenger who defeated him becomes the new Black Knight and regains any limbs he lost to the previous black knight.
In holding with the original skit only long swords may be used, (single long blue or red) and armor doesn't count.
The game is won when the black knight has defeated all challengers without losing his spot as black knight, (including the previous black knight who is now a challenger.)
