I think we ought to do a little more "practice" during the Monday practice. Drills are so useful. I have seen how effective doing the same thing over and over is in my martial arts class. The movements become second nature. You don't even think about them. See also "muscle memory". We could try doing some drills for 15 minutes at the beginning of practice or something. I think it would help a lot.
I agree, he is pretty funny. He has such a good tone of voice for lessons though, he is interesting to listen to.

The first vid there was funny because of his belly. Yes, that would be "tap" fighting, it is extremely, though it does get faster at times, it is slower than most "tap" fighting than I have seen. It is extremely stylized with a lot of unnecessary movement (makes it fun to watch though. That said, there are things to be learned here. (goes to watch more)
