Another possibility is the Air Cadets space. It looks like they have a bay in the mall. Not huge, not that size is an option anymore, but could work.

Called Grace Baptist and they secretary was helpful, though, sounded a little unsure. We would need to submit a application to the board of deacons, explaining Who, What, When, Where, etc. I forgot to ask for price, and it sounds like they might want insurance, but they ay accept a lesser amount. It also sounds like they are open most week nights except tuesday, which its good.

Ok, we decided to look in to insurance before proceeding, but I called the Nose Creek Museum today anyway. I figure if they wanted to know what was going on, tomorrow would be as good a day as any to show them what is up. I explained that I wasn't really sure the Museum was suited well for us, but every one always asked "Have you tried the Museum?" She agreed that it probably wouldn't work, the rooms might, but they don't allow consorts anymore after a bad incident, there is some times art work displayed but it can be take dow and up back up after we are done.
Here is the priced for rental: $75 for an event with a $50 damage deposit.

Made some more calls:
Crossfield: -Community Center:
-Large dance floor: 69x70" $525 -Multi-Purpose room: 57x37" $120 -Something Craft Room: 25x29" $60
Damage deposit is same as rental, need 1mil liability
-Schools Gym: Need to call Rockyveiw for that
-"Lions Lot" above arena
-seats 30-50 people $91.35 damage deposit $300
Carstairs: They have a -Scout Hall, Arena, Community Hall
I am looking at these places because, Airdrie is booked until kingdome come. If distance was problem, we could carpool from my house. If it caught on on those communities, we could end up with a new realm, which would be a cool side effect. Hopefully, things will be cheeper further out.

Ya, hopefully. As far as driving is concerned that does not bother me as I have to drive anyway if I want to get somewhere. If you find somewhere in Crossfield that's just as far from my place as it is to Airdrie.
EDIT: You would think that smaller communities would be more open as far as availability is concerned but that is just a guess.

Well you know driving isn't a concern for me... I'm already over half an hour away driving... unless you could find a place in Calgary, then it would be easier for me
