When I was looking on the Internet for Belegarth promotional videos I found quite a few. One thing I noticed about them was that unless you new what they were doing like I did you really could not tell. The fact was, nobody "died" well which made it difficult to tell what they were doing. you really could not tell where they got hit ether. Do you think we should practice our "dying"? No really, I'm serious. It will come in handy if we ever make a promotional video to help people visualize just what the heck we are doing. Even people walking by when we practice will be able to discern better what we are doing.

Hmm... maybe not practicing it, but enforcing it better? I know last friday, there were a lot of time we were running around killing the dead, and getting killed by people who we thought were dead but weren't, because nobody wanted to get wet in the snow. Really confusing.
THe rules say, when you die, you need to ether fall on your back or but your sword on your head and clear the field.
I know if we do an event I am going to have a prize for best deaths.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. EDIT: All I meant was that we should "die" and it should be very obvious that we "died". Even if it is a bit cheesy and over acted that is better for visual purposes than not "dying at all.

I don't think it's the death scene we need to work on. It's the staying dead.
Quite often especially in the snow I didn't see someone die but I'm not sure if they are dead because they aren't lying down.
We need to enforce weapon on head and set specific "dead people areas" so it's obvious to everyone at a glance if someone is alive or dead. Bridge battles work well because the out of bounds is so well defined and people don't stay dead long enough for their arm to get tired, (as we tend to drop the weapon from our head if we are dead more than 30 seconds.)
