So I was thinking about ways to glue during the winter. Spray glue was one option but I don't think my parents would like me doing that in the basement. I hear carpet tape magically unsticks in temperatures below 4C so that's not an option either. I remember my dad telling me he used to take his cars to heated parking garages so he could do spray paint work on them in the winter. So I'm wondering if you think something like this could work for glueing. Market Mall has free heated underground parking. I just wonder if security would mind(assuming I went at a time where there was lots of open spots and I didn't make a mess). Right now I have all my foam cut for a round shield so all I have to do is glue. And if it works would it be something we could do as a group?
Right now it's warm enough to have practices but not warm enough to glue.

I don't know what security would think... The trouble with glue in heated spaces is that it doesn't take long to stink up he hole place.
I also waited to long and missed my opportunity to glue some things that need fixing...

Then perhaps using low odour glues such as spray glue might work. But maybe it's not worth the driving or effort. I'm just eager to get my new round shield finished I guess. Today it reached just over freezing so I managed to spray glue a few layers on my round shield but then had to leave. I guess once I have more of an arsenal winter smithing won't be as much of a problem. I'll have my standard combo and new weapons can wait until a chinook. I guess I could always heat up my garage if I'm overly anxious.

Garage's work pretty good with spray glue.

I built most of my weaponry in the winter inside my house, using sprayglue. You need to lay down a lot of newspaper behind where you are spraying but otherwise it works well. There is no problem with fumes, only with a sticky mess that the newspaper deals with.
