New core

So anyways, my dad picked up a possible new core at Canadian Tire the other day for me to try...
It's a plastic-coated metal stake for like, yards and stuff. Yes, I know metal is illegal and all, but it is super light. It is slightly bendable, but I figure if you bend it and make the foam box around it, it would hold it's shape... Easier to make curved swords for sure...
Anyways, I'll experiment, (assuming NW Calgary doesn't get another freak blizzard...) and see if it works...
It probably won't pass, but it's worth a shot I guess...
I'll see if I can get a pic up eventually...
