It depends if the block slows down the shot enough. If the strike still impacts hard then it still counts, but if you are able to significantly reduce the impact with the block then it might not count and you could call "light".

another question here. well actually this is Gothmogs question.
when you have arrows that are used the fins start to rip off, Gothmog was wondering if i had to get new arrows if the fins fell off.
i personally don't think so but just thought i would check with you.

I've found this: to be pretty effective on carbon arrow shafts. You may want to look at other archery-specific glues for aluminum or wood shafts. What's nice about this one specifically is that you don't have to worry about it drying out and you dispense glue by squeezing the two ridged sides of the container. This gives you pinpoint control of how much glue is being dispensed. The trickier part is making sure the fletching is applied true to the shaft. You can try and eye it but I haven't had much success with that technique. I use something like this: It has two pieces, a magnetic clamp that holds the fletching and a rest for the arrow shaft, that you can use to precisely place the fletching onto the arrow without worrying about it not being positioned properly. The problem with these is that they can cost anywhere from $30 American all the way up to $150. You may want to see if there are any archery shops near you. A lot of times they will do arrow fletchings. Most of the places I've seen charge around $1-$3 per arrow. To extend the life of my fletchings, I take quarter-width strips of duct tape and lay them in the gaps between two fletchings. I pay special attention that strips are long enough to go past both the front and back of the fletching. After a while, you'll see the tape get ripped and torn instead of the fletching. Then you can peel the tape off (carefully!) and replace it. I've tried the same technique with grip tape but wasn't really happy with the results. Hope this helps.

thanks Kyrian
i would love to have something like that. the only thing that limits me is well money and Drumheller has no archery stores. thanks for the advice i would love to use that technique but i think the only thing i can due is use super glue or molecular bonding type glues.
