This October when my Mom and I were shopping for Christmas presents we went to The Store Upstairs(Above the Pharmasave in Airdrie). I got to looking at the pretty cool figures they have of medieval fighters. One of them was a mounted horseman with a spear and shield. The shield was what exited my interest for it was a small round shield that had one strap at about the middle part of his forearm, his hand hand stuck out a bit so that he could hold the spear, but instead of having another for his arm to fit through he had a strap that came around his neck and attached back to his shield. It occurred to me that you would be able to do the same with a red weapon. this would make it possible for red wielders to have a significant size shield while still having the power that red weapons bring to the field.
So what do you think of my idea?
Hurray I'm a junior member, hurray I'm a junior member, hurray I'm a junior me . . . sorry I got a little carried away. ;D

lol. So, here is the thing junior... I think I have the image in my head all wrong, cuz I am seeing something at limits mobility and would be frustrating... I am quite sure I have it wrong in my head. Very sure actually. BUT. I do know that many shields, especially in ancient times, where only secured by a shoulder strap, allowing both arms to be use with a spear.

I don't think it would be that awkward. I do admit however that some moves would eliminate protection for a short time. You now, if you twisted a certain way it would kind of limit your protection. Thats why it would probably work better for spears because there is only a one directional motion.

No I don't think anything will help you. I will just have to make one and show you.
