On May 7th I'll be going to Underground Con as a "vendor" trying to promote Belegarth. If possible I' like a 2nd person manning the booth for part of the day so I can check out the rest of the con. I'm also looking for promotional materials I can hand out at the con and anything else that might catch people's eyes and make them want to try Belegarth out. Anyone want to help out?

I would love to, can't say ATM, at the least I can lend some armour and things to display.
Do you have something that could by playing a loop of slideshows and promo videos?
How big of a booth space is it? 10x10 with one table and 2 chairs?

I'm expecting it will just be a table but I've sent an email to the coordinator to check.
I don't have anything to display videos and if I'm manning the booth alone I wouldn't want to leave anything that valuable where it might get stolen. I'm expecting our weapons and armour are pretty safe to leave there on display because not many people would want them.
I would like some help making posters and cards/pamphlets/takeaway sheets I can hand out though.

Ok, I believe I can come and help. Can I get details? Times, location, etc.
We should probably gear the promotional stuff toward gamers? Like real life gaming, or something? I would like to promote Battle for Strathclyde there. I will try to get some work done on some promo materiel done up this week (I'm on a spring brake).

How many brochures do you think we will need? Do you have any idea of conference attendance?
We printed off 100 double sided plain paper pamphlets (cut in half to make 200) for about $30 I think, maybe less.

Are we limited to how many people can work the both for free?

On the ones with both of us on it I prefer the one with the images on opposite sides, the other one looks more wordy even though they are the same.
battle for strathclyde promotional materials should include when, where, requirements etc. people will, (hopefully) be taking these with them so they should have all the pertinent info.
I like both the BrochureB and the Brochure3 one. We should have a few different designs so it looks like we have more info, if we only have 1 thing to hand out it detracts from the display.
One thing that worries me a little is all the images have guys in full armor. Although that looks cool, it might give people the impression that you need full armor to participate. Do we have any decent images of people in garb only?

How much more would it cost to make the pamphlets colour? and on cardstock rather than normal paper?
I have no clue how many we will need, 100 is probably more than enough but who knows.

How much more would it cost to make the pamphlets colour? and on cardstock rather than normal paper? Color is crazy. ยข50-$1 a flyer unfortunately. I think we would need WAY bigger bulk than than we would ever need to get any significant discount. Not sure about paper types. I have been really trying to push the greyscale to get as good and eye catching image as black and white will allow. I have no idea about paper types.

That's probably good enough details.
Should it be a separate pamphlet or should it be the back of the main practice times one?

It's a bit overpoweringly black though.
Works in colour, no so much in greyscale
