Yes, to both. I have no die ATM. Die costs $8, but I didn't get any, I will next time. The leather is 12-13oz (very thick), aprix .5cm thick. I plan on burning designs in to the armor. I will be making some lace up bracers and maybe some lace up greaves. They will be proto types, but still very functional and cool. Bracer = For arm Grieve = Shin

It was a steel. Or so people have been telling me. $26 is what it was marked at, the guy was nice to me and game me a bit off of that to. Because they are lace up, they are easily died. (that is the color all leather come in naturally BTW)
I am hoping to try burring latter today.

Nice! I might just take you up on your offer. Both bracers and grieves with designs on them please. How much would I have to pay?

I think I might have to get more leather before I can do many grieves...
I am not sure. $20 for a set, as they are prototypes? Any requests as to burring designs?
Something else to consider is that when going sword and board you only really need a bracer on your sword arm, and a grieve on your forward leg. A bit unbalanced mine you.

For going sword and board I would have a full set of bracers and grieves just for the look if not for the practicality. I would like to order a full set please. As for my design, I would like both bracers and grieves to have a border of curlicues and that sort of thing as well as in the middle put three bobcat faces each above the other.

Just read my post again, and realized it wasn't very clear maybe. By set I mean 2 things. So like a set of Bracers or a set of grieves. Though I would need to calculate the grieves, because they are almost twice a big as bracers.
My currant peace of hide really isn't that big, couldn't get more than a grieve or two out of it I don't think...
How about this, $15 for two bracers (I going to spend at least an hour on them) without laces, and $20 with (shoe lasses cost $2.50 I think, but it take so long to run to any store in Airdrie it is ridiculous).

Ok, in that case I would like a set of bracers and a set of grieves both with my desired design without the shoe lasses. I think I can manege those. Don't about getting them to me all right away for I can wait. If you can't fit it all into one order I would like the bracers first.

Ok, were any of these patterns what you were thinking of when you say "curlicues"?

As for the Bobcat, I am trying to find one from the front, but can't seem to... Are ether of these close to what you are thinking of?

I think I like pattern #4 the best. A bobcat front view would be the best but the first bobcat you have there would work quite well.
