I calculated 25+ people fighting on our field at one time last friday, withe even more total over the 2 hours as people left and joined. That is very exiting! Lets keep working to grow and maintain members.
However, we were starting to deal with a dynamic that we have not had to deal with up to this point. Crowed control. If numbers keep this high, or grow. We may run in to trouble eventually. I think we should discuss this. How do we run large practices when they happen?
One idea Mog suggested was unit divisions. I don't know who we would set that up, but that would mean that the leader would only need to gather the unit leaders and explain, and then the unit leaders would in tern explain it to their units. Making a lot less work for us in charge. I just don't know how to set it up at the beginning of practice.
Another option is more structure.
We also may want to consider having a Marshall on big days.
Also, how do we set it up so that we can adjust, when we first arrive we wont necessarily know if it will be a big turn out or not until 10-20 min in.

Well we know that nosecreek has more than just 1 open field so maybe would can sometimes split up the big group and do two smaller groups, each on their own open space! So far we are really only using the one field but the one just next to us by the totom poles is big enoug to fit a big group as well.

I know this doesn't have to do with crowd control, but I heard a rumor there is going to be something planned for Xmas. I also heard you need a place to do it seeing as the festival of lights occurs around then (blasted electricity). I had the idea of using A.E.Bowers park for a location. it is right next to nose creek park, like just across the street close. figure it'll work?

oh we could also use that field if we get an excessively large amount of people.
