If you can get a poster up in some schools that would be pretty good. Probably better if someone from the school does it, and with permission of course. Mention the outdoors and exercise part to the person you need permission from

So to recap (again) We aren't carting the whole Bel team around ALberta, just hanging out in Cochrane... And it's free/cheap.... Age minimum 14-ish and We'll figure out food/shelter later?
If my parents let me come, I could probably get a friend or two to come... I have 3 swords and 2 daggers (currently) that I could bring... (I made a dagger and sword this week... ;D ...27" and 15.5" both stabbing) (I'll see if i can get pictures up when I'm done but i ran out of hockey tape to wrap my sword...)

-Keep people updated with how the event is developing -Get people involved with planning(the event games list etc.)(if they have a part in the event they are more likely to come) -Get people equipped(weapons, garb, armour) -As the realm leader, personally connect with each person about the event, see where they're at -See what people want to get out of the event
How's that for starters?
(Note to self: do the impossible by raising an army by May 15th to defend our borders)

FB event made, lets make sure it doesn't back fire this time Invite all your friends and make sure you appear as attending! www.facebook.com/event.php?invites&eid=388788746012Also, post a comment, lets see if we can't start a discussion there. Also #2, how do we reach an official consensus on age minimum? I need to know where to to invite people under 16.

What do we use for image recognition? We need a uniform graphic to symbolize the event so that all the sites and promotional stuff has the same image and is easily identified as the same thing. What should we use? Something on resourcestore.wordpress.com/ or make something new?

I went on a hike at Big Hill Springs Park today, oh my, it has been a wile since I have been there, it is going to be amazing! The fields are just the right size and the scenery is fantastic! I will try and upload some photos of what it looks like right now so you can see where we are going!
Also, it is only 20-22 min from airdrie contrary to Google Maps.

Here is a poster I put togather today, what are your thoughts? I am not sure if the fighter guy is the right choice, would a Strathclyde Crest in the same stile be better?

It should be 15-05-2010
Standard numeric dates are Day-Month-Year, though sometimes it is Month-Day-Year as that is the verbal ordering, ie. April 14th, 2010. This is improper as it can lead to confusion on dates like 06-03-2010: this is March 6th, 2010 not June 3rd, 2010. In our case it won't be a problem as there is no 15th month. Still, just remember to order from-short-to-long.
And May is the 5th month! Not the fourth.
