Lets make the age minimum min 14 but not mention it anywhere, not make a deal over it, if someone asks, we tell them in privet that it is 14. How about that?

Ok, there are 2 Fighting Arias I identified: - Lower Feild is an open aria next to the parking lot. It feels like you are out in the country, it is next to the parking lot. - Upper Field is accessed from the parking lot at well, it slightly sloped and under the shadow of the trees and the hill, it is separated from the Picnic Aria by a 10ft cliff. - Picnic Aria is dirt with 4 or 5 picnic tables, it sits next to the creek, it is the head of the hiking trail. - Outhouse is a permanent cement building with 2 toilets. - Parking Lot is dirt.  |

I've forgotten exactly what picture I used for the sign but it had 2 fighters sparing, (both shield and sword.) not just one guy. To me that makes the event seem more interesting rather than just showing off our gear.

Im not to sure if I can make it yet, but i think that a few of us (my friends who play) will carpool over if anybody is going. Also I don't know if my dad would let me but I wonder if he would let me bring our propane grill from the trailer...  (* this is an insult to me, there is an ad for the Wicked musical, and I swear I want to see it so bad. But it isn't coming to calgary. Stupid ad!!!!!  ) |

Any thoughts on the invite? We need to start making up an event schedule, so far we have Capture the Flag, and Cochrane VS world for fighting events. I would also like to plan a Group Photo. Dave, I would like to get you and your guys involved in any way posable in the planing, as you guys are hosting the event. (BTW, do they know they are hosting yet?  ) |

No I haven't told them about the event yet. It's a lot to take in at once so I'll announce that at the next practice and on Facebook soon. I'll be trying to get everyone on the forum as well. I have a ton to think about. I'm trying to get weapon building started. I have to channel all the new energy into something so we don't lose our momentum.
Let's try some fun game types. I was thinking one team with all spears and the other team has to try to "break" them. Porcupine formation or something. Team king of thieves? Defend The Object, 2 teams, one team just has to touch an object to win and the other team has to stop them, respawn allowed. I think up games best at night when it's quiet and there's no pressure of having to get anything done. I'll also try to take a look at the national games list. A zombie game type would be great.

I'd really like to try the bigger games we've put on the printable games list, (like the "Capture the base" game, 4 shields on the ground you have to flip)
A bunch of them we just haven't had a big enough turnout to try yet.
